These terms govern use of this website and participation in the text message programme that Clearfield Clinical operates on behalf of client gastroenterology practices. Clearfield Clinical is a service of Tig Tech LLC, a Texas limited liability company.
Services delivered to a practice are governed by a separate signed Services Agreement and Business Associate Agreement between Clearfield Clinical and that practice. Where those agreements conflict with anything here, they control.
Text message programme
What it is. Clearfield Clinical sends pre-procedure preparation messages to patients on behalf of the gastroenterology practice that scheduled their procedure. The content is the practice’s own preparation instructions, delivered on a schedule calculated from the patient’s procedure time. Messages are care-related and transactional.
Who receives messages. Only patients who already have a procedure scheduled with a client practice. Consent arises from the treatment relationship between the patient and that practice. We do not obtain phone numbers from any other source and we do not message anyone else.
Message frequency. Frequency varies with each patient’s procedure date and the practice’s protocol, and is typically six to nine messages across the week before a procedure, plus any replies to questions the patient sends.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Clearfield Clinical charges patients nothing.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to end messages immediately. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact your practice directly. Opting out takes effect at once and is reported to your practice the same business day so that they can reach you another way. Opting out does not affect your appointment and does not affect your care.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. Mobile information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. See the privacy policy.
These messages are not medical advice and not an emergency service. They deliver logistics: timing, volumes, and what to eat and drink. If you have a clinical question, we pass it to your practice and tell you we have done so. If you are unwell or think you may be having a reaction, contact your practice or seek urgent medical care. Do not use text messages to report an emergency.
What the service is
Clearfield Clinical delivers instructions written and approved by a client practice, and reports back to that practice on who has responded and who needs attention. We do not practise medicine, do not provide clinical advice, and do not exercise clinical judgement. We do not schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments, and we do not alter any record in a practice’s systems. Every clinical decision about a patient remains with that patient’s practice.
Use of this website
This site is provided for information. You may read it, print it, and share it. You may not copy it wholesale to represent another business, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to anything behind it. The text, diagrams and page design are the property of Tig Tech LLC.
Accuracy
Clinical figures cited on this site are drawn from published guidance and benchmarking sources named where they appear, and reflect that guidance as of the date above. Guidance changes. The illustrative revenue figure on the home page is built from published averages and is not drawn from client results. Nothing on this site is a promise of a particular outcome for any practice, and no representation is made that any specific reduction in cancellations will occur.
Liability
This website is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Tig Tech LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything that cannot lawfully be limited. Liability arising from services delivered to a practice is governed by that practice’s signed Services Agreement, not by this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
